Inside and out beauty: Nutrients that are good for the skin

There are many factors affecting our skin’s beauty. These factors can be grouped as those we are exposed to from outside and those from within. Factors such as the nutrients we consume, our hormone balance, our mental health and water consumption are factors that affect our skin from the inside out.

 Nutrition is very important for our health. An unhealthy diet can damage your metabolism, cause you to gain weight, and even damage vital organs such as your heart and liver. The foods we consume to reach healthy skin also positively affect our general health. Rather than focusing on specific foods for healthy skin, the focus should be on healthy eating in general, and a balanced diet list. Plenty of fruits and vegetables should be consumed. If you are going to consume dairy products, low-fat or non-fat dairy products should be preferred.
