Fibroblast (Tissue Sample from Behind the Ear)

As we age, facial lines become more visible due to skin thinning, particularly a decrease in subcutaneous collagen and elastin fibers. Collagen is the basic building block that forms the basic texture of our skin and provides shape and support to the skin, and collagen production decreases significantly after the age of 30s.

Fibroblasts are the special cells that synthesize this protein that keeps the skin healthy and alive. However, as the number of collagen-producing cells decreases significantly with age, the supporting tissue of the skin begins to weaken. This is the main reason for wrinkles, especially in the middle 1/3 of the face.

The fullness of the face decreases as we age, soft tissue loss begins, and the skin becomes thinner. In the applications made about the face, we do not only correct the image and eliminate the problems. In this case, stem cell transplantation comes into play.

Stem cells turn into whatever cell the patient needs.

In this method, a very small sample from our patient’s ear is taken, and the fibroblast cells are separated using procedures that require the skin sample, and these cells are multiplied under special conditions for three weeks.

Sample removal is made with a few millimeters incision. The procedure only takes 5-7 minutes. In the meantime, we numb the patients regionally so that they do not feel pain and remove a very small piece of skin. Then we put a little tape over that area. The patients can immediately return to their normal life. They can do sports and take a shower. There’s no inflammation or bruising.

The proliferating cells are injected into the patient at the end of the 5th week with a small needle in a filling material called hyaluronic acid, which is frequently used. Our procedure can be applied to the whole face area, especially to the area where wrinkles are excessive.

If 3 sessions are planned for the patient after these 5 weeks, it can be applied once a month.

The injected hyaluronic acid produces an early and moderate filling effect, and fibroblast cells begin to increase collagen synthesis after two months, which is when the biological clock returns. It means an increase in healing and filling of wrinkles over time, and most importantly, preventing wrinkles that will occur; that is, it can be interpreted as a vaccine to stop youth and time.
